1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ElovioPet ("Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree, please stop using the Service.

2. Description of Service

ElovioPet provides a website and mobile application with care guides, community features, and related educational content for small pet owners. The Service is designed to help pet owners better understand and care for their pets.

IMPORTANT: ElovioPet is not a veterinary service. The health information provided is for informational purposes only and does not constitute veterinary advice. Always consult a licensed exotic veterinarian for medical decisions.

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security and confidentiality
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it updated
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Subscription and Payments

ElovioPet operates on a subscription model for the app and device services. Pricing will be announced prior to the May 2026 launch. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refund policies will be specified at the time of purchase.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the Service
  • Use the Service to harm animals
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to interfere with service operation
  • Use automated means to access the Service without permission

6. Intellectual Property

ElovioPet owns all rights to the Service, including the website, app, content, characters (Mochi, Pepper, Biscuit, Cinnamon), and original comics. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You retain ownership of data you provide. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use that data to provide and improve the Service.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The health information on ElovioPet is not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis or treatment. Pet owners should use their own judgment and consult qualified veterinarians for medical concerns.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELOVIOPET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PETS, OR VETERINARY COSTS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or website notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
